Janet is the co-author of the book "Straight Expectations: The Story of a Family in Transition." (Jessica Kingsley Publishers; 2017).  

The book is the memoir of Janet's colleague Peggy Cryden, LMFT, and tells the story of how she raised two gay sons, one transgender, along with insights and support for involved family members and friends, clinicians, and the gender non-conforming community.
